  • How do I place an order?
    There are few ways to do this: 1. Call us at (914) 893-6760 during shop hours to speak with one of our bakers. Shop hours are: Mon - Fri 9am-5pm; Sat & Sun 9am-1pm Closed on Sunday. 2. Complete the contact form on our Contact page. 3. Send a private message on our Instagram or Facebook (links found at the top right of this page). 4. Send us an email at petitesweetsny@gmail.com, including your name, phone number to reach you, and a brief description of your order and date of your event.
  • How long does it take for an order to be fulfilled?
    We are a small home bakery that makes our items fresh to-order. For a pick-up order, we need at least one week of notice. For items that need to be shipped, we need two weeks notice before the day of your event to assure that the cookies arrive on time. We are limited in the number of orders we can accept at one time, so we highly recommend that you book an order with us as early as possible, especially if you are interested in items for the holidays.
  • Do you do custom items?
    YES! Our bakers are happy to consult with you to make sure that you have the items you want, the way you want them. We can match colors, personalize, add sugar flowers, add luster and gold, add fondant or gumpaste, and add edible pearls. Tell us what you are looking for and we will gladly work with you.
  • Can I cancel an order?
    We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel an order, please let us know at least a week in advance. Cancellations are not possible less than one week before your event. There is a nonrefundable 10% deposit on all orders.
  • Do you deliver?
    We are based in southern Westchester, NY and can deliver within 10 miles of our location for a small delivery fee. This does not include potential toll fees. Please speak to one of our bakers to schedule a delivery.
  • Can you ship my order?
    If you live in the continental US, we offer shipping to 48 states. This does not include Hawai'i, Alaska, or US commonwealths (i.e. Puerto Rico, Guam). We can only ship COOKIES. We do not ship cakes or cupcakes, due to the delicate nature and shelf-life of the product. Items that cannot be shipped are available for pickup at our home bakery or delivery for an extra charge (based on distance). We are based in southern Westchester, NY.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    Sadly, no. We are based in the United States and only ship to 48 states. At this time, we do not ship to Hawai'i, Alaska, or US territories like Puerto Rico.
  • What is the cost for shipping?
    The cost for shipping depends on the weight of your shipped items and the distance the items will travel. We ship through UPS, which offers Ground, 3-Day Select, and 2nd Day Air among other options. UPS Ground takes about 5 business days and costs between $10 and $20.
  • How long will my items be in transit?
    We ship through UPS. Please refer to the infographic below to see the estimated time of transit, measured in business days. It also depends on the shipping option you choose--UPS Ground takes around 5 business days, while 2nd Day Air takes 2 business days. **NOTICE** Due to the impact of COVID-19, UPS cannot guarantee that your shipment will arrive during the estimated timeframe. Please factor in a few extra days to ensure your delivery arrives before the day of your event.
  • Can I return an order?
    No. Once your item is picked-up, delivered, or shipped we can no longer take the item back. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us so that we can help you.
  • What happens if my cookies are damaged during shipping?
    We spend a lot of time creating your beautifully designed cookies, so we take extra care when wrapping items for shipping. We try to box your cookies so that movement during shipping is virtually impossible. Generally our cookie shipments arrive at their intended destination unscathed. That said, we cannot control how your shipment is handled after it leaves the bakery. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds or replacements on cookies that are damaged during shipping.
  • What happens if my cake or cupcakes are damaged?
    Once your items leave our bakery, we cannot be responsible for damages.
  • What if I am not satisfied with my order?
    If a mistake has been made on your order, we will do everything we can to fix it. This may mean making new items or redecorating your order. If your order has been made per your instructions, we cannot change or modify your items. We do not guarantee satisfaction based on taste, texture, or design.
  • Can I choose the flavor of my cakes/cupcakes?
    YES! You can choose between white, yellow, or chocolate. Can we also consider Funfetti a flavor? Yeah, why not! But the options don't end there--most items allow you to choose a filling as well!
  • Can you write a message on a cake?
    Absolutely! We will work with you to make sure that the message fits on the size cake you choose. We love personalizing cakes with a loved one's name or a special saying. That said, we won't be able to transcribe Shakespeare's Hamlet on any cake size--sorry! :)
  • Are all your items able to be personalized?
    That may be difficult to do on really small cookies (1"-2"), but our bakers can help you decide where personalization would look best. Some items may look better with intials instead of a full name, and vice versa. Ask us about it, and we will be more than happy to work with you! Please make sure that any names are spelled correctly--we will double-check with you, but ultimately whatever you write down will be how we spell.
  • Do you do custom cakes for weddings?
    Yes, we do! They are a really big project, and require notice three months prior to the day of the wedding. You may request something on your cake that we need to special order, and we want to make sure that it gets to us well before the Big Day. We also painstakingly handmold our sugar flowers and gumpaste plaques. We want to make sure that your cake is just as beautiful as your wedding day!
  • How do I order a custom cake?
    Send us a message and request a consultation! We will definitely want to speak to you about a custom cake to ensure that your vision for the cake is translated properly. You can send us pictures that show elements of cakes you want incorporated into yours. We do not provide a preliminary sketch of your design. **NOTE** Due to COVID-19, we are unable to have in-person consultations at this time. We are happy to speak to you on the phone, or via a video-conferencing software like Zoom.
